Chicken Table Runner Applique



COST: $20 to hold your spot. $7 for the pattern and then you are responsible for your supplies. 

Join us for a fun and creative sewing class as we make The Girls table runner by KLee2Strings. This delightful design showcases a flock of colorful hens with playful chicks, creating a charming farmhouse-inspired accent for your home. The finished runner measures approximately 11" x 29" and is a wonderful project for seasonal decorating or gifting.

During class, students will learn how to work with raw edge appliqué, accurately position and assemble appliqué pieces, and finish their project with machine stitching and quilting techniques. We'll also discuss fabric selection, color placement, and tips for achieving clean, professional-looking appliqué results.

This class is ideal for adventurous beginners who are comfortable using a sewing machine, as well as experienced stitchers looking for a quick and enjoyable project. By the end of class, you'll have a charming table runner and the confidence to use appliqué techniques in future quilting and sewing projects.

Materials Included: The pattern. See below for supplies needed.
Requirements: Must bring sewing machine in working order and have a basic understanding of how to use it. Supply List: Sewing machine capable of zig zag or blanket stitch with appropriate presser foot 1/2 yard of background fabric 14x32 backing fabric 14x32 batting 1/4 yard for binding 50 weight thread to match your applique shapes scissors rotary cutter ruler pencil fabric scraps for applique shapes (a bunch of black, white, red, and some orange will be provided for you to use)
