Crazy Quilt Table Runner

This class will teach you a fun – no stress method of creating a crazy quilt patch. Then the fun begins.
You will create the interesting stitches between the seems using your decorative stitches on your machine
to make a truly traditional crazy quilt patch with a fun modern twist. Using variegated threads that
coordinate with your fabrics can even bring more design elements.
The best fabrics are ones that coordinate with one another (Think Seasonal), batiks, fabrics with minimal
prints and only a couple of colors. You can choose one fabric that will be in each block that will make
your quilt have nice cohesion. You may want to pick a leaf, for autumn, or a cardinal for Christmas. You
will fussy cut that fabric and will have a wonderful themed fabric.
Your backing fabric can coordinate or can contrast and can be reversible. That makes for a really fun
project. With the skills you learn you can easily make matching placemats. The sky is the limit with this
class.

| Materials Included: | Materials NOT included with the cost of the class: fabric (come pick it out), threads, and fusible interfacing. |
| Requirements: | A sewing machine in working order and have a basic understanding of how to use it. Also, your sewing machine needs decorative stitches – ideally machine should have at least 10 different stitches available. Come to the shop to pick out your fabric, thread, and include the interface. Bring the following: Rotary cutter, cutting mat, pins, and scissors |
