Beginner Domestic Machine Free Motion Quilting

Ready to add texture, movement, and personality to your quilts? This beginner-friendly class introduces the basics of free motion quilting using your domestic sewing machine.
Students will learn how to practice proper hand positioning and movement, and build confidence stitching simple designs and patterns. We’ll cover essential tools and supplies, tension basics, troubleshooting tips, and techniques to help you gain control and develop smooth stitching.
No prior free motion quilting experience is needed. This class is designed for beginners who want to explore quilting beyond straight-line stitching in a supportive, hands-on environment.

| Requirements: | Must bring sewing machine in working order and have a basic understanding of how to use it.Come at 10:30 to pick up material and pin it so you are ready to go. Review how to lower the feed dogs on your machine. Bring a darning foot. |
